A token is valid for the fishing season (April 1st – March 31st)
If you don’t use all your fish tokens on your visit unused tokens are carried over to your next visit.
You can exchange unused fish the token at Kingfisher farm shop for a frozen trout during the last few days of the season.
Or between the 28th and 31st March, the tokens can be exchanged for fresh fish at the trout farm by appointment.
Day Members may purchase 2 or 4 Tokens at a time.
Season Members may purchase Tokens in 10s.
Flys are available to purchase on the bank at Syon and at Albury.
In the village you can visit the local pub the Drummond. They offer a fine lunch and cook a mean Trout, especially if you catch it.
The next village is the picturesque Shere. Here there are two pubs the William Bray and the White Horse plus two cafes, including the award-winning Dabbling Duck.
Also worth a visit for stunning views of the Surrey Hills is Newlands Corner with a greasy spoon cafe, ideal for a plate of chips in Winter or an Ice Cream in Summer.
The closes to the Lakes is the Drummond At Albury who offer 9 rooms. The also cook a mean Trout.
A little further away in Peaslake is the Garden Room B&B run by Brian and Marilyn Simmons. It is a detached self-contained annexe where guests are able to have a key and come and go as they please which might be an attraction to people who may want to be in and out at odd hours.
