ANOTHER GREAT WEEK!

With near perfect conditions at the moment it was another great weeks fishing with 311 fish caught including some nice rainbows. The largest fish was caught by John Ormrod and was a stunning 9lb 8oz brown trout taken at Vale End Fishery.

The water clarity at all fisheries is exceptional and fish are feeding hard on buzzers. Fish them high in the water and if you see fish rising the chances are that they are taking the emerging buzzer in the surface film. As well as buzzers, anglers are catching well on lures and small nymphs. The river is slowly starting to wake up and some really impressive catches have been made. Ben Quinten fished the river and caught and released 23 fish.

The cafe is open from 8.30am to 2.30pm, Tuesday to Friday. On these days please check in at the cafe, outside of these times we will see you on the bank.
