Albury Park Fishery offers the very best of both lake and stream fishing at this classically beautiful venue set amidst magnificent trees, rhododendron and azalea bushes. It is a peacefully quiet location at which to fish, with the brownie sport for both stocked and wild fish on the Tillingbourne a particular feature.

The season runs from 1st April to 30th September, adhering to the river season on the Tillingbourne.

The River Tillingbourne running through Albury Park is a delightful stretch to fish, and is divided up into eight distinctive beats, each of some 250 metres in length. The fishing here is varied, some beats are slow deep glides held up by antique sluices, whilst others are steeper faster runs offering a classic pool-and-riffle profile. Fly life is prolific, with stone clingers to agile darters abounding in the well oxygenated water. The mayfly hatch is particularly exciting, and begins around 10th May each season, whilst there are good numbers of sedge during mid to late summer.

The tranquil 1.5 acre is stocked with those hard-fighting Albury rainbows, averaging 2.25lbs, whilst the river beats offer challenging sport to browns of 1lb to 1.5lbs with a catch and release option here. Indeed, most river anglers tend to return their fish, only taking one or two for the pot. The lake sport is very definitely catch and kill.

Members may elect to fish on a Family Rod status (where two family members can fish every day of every week), Full Rod status (fishing every day of every week), Half Rod status (fishing every day of every alternate week), or on a Quarter Rod status (fishing during one named week per month)
